We use local materials and technology and the global covering is made by a wooden penelling from pressure treated pine, PEFC certificated.

We also use strategies to adapt the architecture to the climate in which it is located giving confort and energy efficiency. The size of the windows in each orientation, the type of glasses, the sun protections, the position of the isolation, the crossed ventilation etc, are touhgt in orther to take advantage of the sun in winter and to protect the temperature inside. Besides we use sun energy to warm water and the rain is stored to water the trees and the vegetable garden.

Plan

On the whole, this rural architecture try to collect the popular knowledge and to offer contemporary solutions whith ethical and aesthetics coherence, in order to give Irene, Mª Ángeles and Minuca, a place to enjoy the LIVE.
